At the foothills of the mountains in Paradise Valley, Arizona, our Doubletree Canyon Project is a masterful blend of regional influences and deeply personal design. This home reflects a beautiful juxtaposition of refined Manhattan sensibility and relaxed desert living - created for homeowners who transitioned from city life to embrace a larger footprint designed for gathering, long-term hosting, and everyday family living. From the start, this project centered on honoring the clients’ rich collection of heirloom pieces and curated art they brought with them from New York. These meaningful elements became the foundation of the design, layered seamlessly with full-home furnishings to create a polished yet individualized aesthetic, completely unique to the homeowners and non-replicable. A large addition allowed us to thoughtfully expand the home with a fully integrated guest en suite designed for long-term stays. This “home within a home” includes a dedicated living area, dining space, kitchen, laundry room, guest bedroom, and bathroom—creating both comfort and privacy for extended family and visiting friends. The guest bathroom also serves as the primary bathroom when entering from the pool, requiring a careful balance of durability and elevated sophistication for everyday use and entertaining alike. Throughout the home, each space was designed to tell its own story while contributing to a cohesive whole - distinct chapters within a unified narrative. From layered textures and custom built-ins to curated lighting and thoughtful flow, every detail was considered to ensure function met beauty at every turn. The Doubletree Canyon Project exemplifies our philosophy of blending intentional design with personal history, creating homes that feel both elevated and deeply lived-in. By marrying the clients’ heirloom pieces with modern comforts and multi-regional influence, we crafted a home that feels expansive yet intimate—perfectly suited for hosting, family life, and timeless enjoyment.
