URBAN CRAFTSMAN PROJECT

Tucked within the Coronado Historic District of Phoenix, Arizona, the Urban Craftsman Project captures the timeless beauty of a 1920s-era home reimagined for modern living. This project showcases our signature balance of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary comfort - where every finish, furnishing, and form honors the home’s original character while making space for the homeowners who’ve added their chapter to this home’s story. Our goal was to breathe new life into this historic home without losing its soul. The design approach leaned into warm wood tones, layered neutrals, and textural depth, allowing the home’s architecture to shine while introducing thoughtful touches. We carefully curated furnishings and decor that feel as though they’ve been collected over time, blending Arts & Crafts influences with a clean-lined, urban sensibility. The result is a home that’s rich in narrative, refined but never overdesigned, and lived-in yet intentionally composed. The living and dining areas embody subtle contrast and tactile warmth. Custom upholstery, vintage-inspired lighting, and hand-made wood pieces work together to create depth and visual flow. Natural materials - linen, wool, and aged brass - infuse the interiors with a sense of permanence and ease. Each vignette was considered as part of a whole: distinct moments connected through tone and proportion. The effect is quietly elevated and creates a sense of feminine sophistication. The Urban Craftsman Project highlights our passion for preserving and progressing historic homes. It’s a story of respect for the architecture, craftsmanship, and homeowners who continue to make these homes their own. With intentional design and thoughtful restraint, we created a space that feels timeless, soulful, and unmistakably Coronado.
